6000 new students have joined the Noble Quran centers in the year 2009-2010
Director of the Islamic Studies Department, Muhammad Al-Omar, stated that 6000 new students, men and women, had joined the Noble Quran centers in the beginning of the new academic year. He added that the Islamic studies Department, with its technical and administrative apparatuses, had finished its preparations to receive the students in its centers which spread in all governorates in the morning and evening shifts. He confirmed that all the defects that might hinder the educational process had been avoided by providing the up-to-date means which help the students memorize the Noble Quran, learn its interpretation and study the other juristic subjects.
Al-Omar concluded his statement calling upon all the officials in the Noble Quran centers to have the spirit of responsibility and offer all facilities and services to the students. He also congratulated them on the occasion of the start of the new academic year and wished them the best of success.
